Barn Rules Firefly Equestrian Center

  • All riders must sign a release before handling or riding horses.
  • Clean up your horse's poop from the barn aisle and the arena.
  • ALL riders must wear an approved safety helmet when mounted AT ALL TIMES!
  • The barn closes at 10pm during the summer and 9pm during the winter. The ONLY exception being for medical emergencies.
  • It is the boarder's responsibility to educate guests and children how to interact with and around horses. If guests or children are deemed dangerous they will be disallowed on the premises.
  • Any equipment not kept in the tack room must be kept in a tack box in front of your stall.
  • Supplements must be measured out into labeled containers.
  • Do not feed or handle horses other than your own without permission.
  • No smoking or alcohol on the property.
  • Do not tie horses without a Blocker tie ring.
  • No dogs allowed on premises without kennel. The manager has the right to disallow privileges should the dog be too rowdy or aggressive.
  • Make sure doors are latched if your horse is in a stall, make sure wire gate is secure if horse is in a pasture.
  • Do not ride off the property with your horse without specific permission from the barn owner and property owner. The exception to this rule is trailering out.
  • Don't wash your horse in the driveway, please use the designated wash area.
  • Please open the gate if it is closed to bring your vehicle into the driveway/parking area and close the gate once inside. Parking in front of the gate or barn is a fire hazard.
  • Please return any facility tools, hoses or other items to their original locations after use.
  • Please give advanced notice any time your horse will be off the property during feed times - 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM or for any extended amount of time, such as a vacation.
